New Cadillac F1 team principal Marcin Budkowski has named his "first priority" after joining the team after the dismissal of Graeme Lowdon.

Isack Hadjar unveils special helmet with hilarious reference

Isack Hadjar has revealed a bespoke helmet design for this weekend's Dutch Grand Prix, complete with a tongue-in-cheek nod to one of the more memorable moments from his debut F1 season.

Following in the footsteps of team-mate Max Verstappen, who also unveiled a special lid for his home race, Hadjar's design pays tribute to his first podium finish in Formula 1, which came at Zandvoort last year.

Exclusive: Honda reveal initial Aston Martin response to F1 issues: 'They never complained'

Aston Martin did not complain about Honda's troubled start to their new Formula 1 partnership, the Japanese manufacturer has revealed, with trackside manager and chief engineer Shintaro Orihara instead praising the team's response to the series of severe problems.

Aston Martin's first season as Honda's works partner has been anything but straightforward, with poor reliability, a lack of performance and severe battery-related vibrations leaving the team fighting at the back of the field.

Mercedes reveal 'long-term' F1 approach after 'enormously satisfying' start to new era

Mercedes technical director James Allison has explained how a multi-year strategic focus on the new-for-2026 F1 regulations underpinned the team's dominant start to the current era, describing the moment they arrived in Melbourne with a genuinely competitive car as "enormously satisfying."

The Silver Arrows entered the summer break leading both championships after 11 rounds, with eight wins, ten pole positions and a 72-point advantage over Ferrari in the constructors' standings.

Lando Norris rubbishes Max Verstappen claim with 'better driver' point

Lando Norris has rubbished Max Verstappen's claims that F1 drivers are "not allowed to make a difference" with F1's new power unit energy algorithms.

The Red Bull driver feels that the algorithms which deploy the energy in the all-new power units limit the ability of drivers to "make a difference" as they cannot manually control the deployment themselves.

Red Bull narrowly defended after difficult new F1 chapter start

Red Bull's first campaign as a bona fide engine manufacturer has been, by their own lofty standards, a humbling experience. Fourth in the constructors' standings with 177 points, zero wins, and a best result of second place for Max Verstappen in Austria and Hungary, the six-time constructors' champions have looked a shadow of the dominant force they were not so long ago.

When we asked RacingNews365 readers whether Red Bull should be doing better this season, the response was almost perfectly split: 51.4% said no, while 48.6% said yes. It is a telling divide, one that captures the two sides of this debate neatly.
