Kevin Magnussen has officially been banned from the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
The Haas driver will not race in Baku following the stewards handing him two penalty points in the Italian GP for a collision with Pierre Gasly at Turn 4.
Both cars were able to continue without damage, leading to Magnussen to hit out at the stewards for their decision-making - but he will be suspended for the Azerbaijan race across the weekend of September 13th-15th.
Magnussen is the first F1 driver to reach the 12-point threshold needed for a race ban since the system was introduced in 2014.

The Super Licence of the driver of Car 20 is suspended for the next Competition of the 2024 FIA Formula One World Championship.
Following this suspension, 12 penalty points will be removed.
In accordance with Article 4.2 of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations, as the Driver of Car 20 has accrued 12 penalty points (see Document 57), the Super Licence of the driver of Car 20 must be suspended for the next Competition.
Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 4 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.
Decisions of the Stewards are taken independently of the FIA and are based solely on the relevant regulations, guidelines and evidence presented.
