Updated 20:15 AST: Haas' Kevin Magnussen has set the fastest lap of the day,
following the team being permitted to run for an extra hour after the
chequered flag. Magnussen posted a time three-tenths quicker than Sainz, as
Haas were given special dispensation to make up for a loss of track
time on Thursday.
Ferrari ended day two of testing in Bahrain on top with driver Carlos Sainz putting in the fastest lap of the test so far.
The Spaniard clocked a 1:33.532 on the Soft C4 compound tyre behind the wheel of his comfortable Ferrari F1-75.
His lap was almost half-a-second faster than Max Verstappen's best, who put in the day's second-fastest time on the Soft C4 tyres.
Lance Stroll posted the third-fastest time (C4), ahead of Lewis Hamilton (C5) in fourth.
