Qualifying for the ninth round of the NLS Series at the Nordschleife has been delayed, due to poor weather conditions.
Thousands of eyes are on the circuit due to Max Verstappen making his competitive GT3 debut, with qualifying having been due to start at 07:30 BST (08:30 CET).
However, dense fog has triggered a delay in the session, with it causing poor visibility across the circuit.
Dense fog also often causes issues for the circuit helicopter, with track action unable to take place while the helicopter cannot fly, should it be needed for an emergency.
The four-hour race is due to start at 11:00 BST (12:00 CET), although it is yet to be announced if the delay to qualifying will also result in a delay to the race.
RacingNews365 will be on hand to deliver all the latest news and reports from the Nurburgring on Saturday, as well as carrying live coverage of the race.
*Update: It has been confirmed qualifying will start at 08:00 BST (09:00 CET) with the race start time to remain.
