Audi F1 seat teased at in social media post

Audi is still yet to confirm its complete driver line-up for the 2024 season - but has this social media post hinted at a pending announcement?

Valtteri Bottas may have dropped a hint over his F1 future through a post on social media post. Bottas is out of contract at the end of the current season but has highlighted his desire to be retained at Stake next year before its transition to Audi in 2026. The Finnish driver, who has 10 grand prix wins to his name from his time at Mercedes, took to social media to promote a “secret mission” with partner Hyland. Featured in the post are two pictures of the Audi R8 road car, with Bottas' race number '77' incorporated onto the side. Could it hint at a potential pending announcement from Bottas? Audi has already signed up one driver for its F1 entry in just over 12 months' time in Nico Hulkenberg, who will depart Haas at the end of the season.
