The first images of the 2026 Audi F1 car have been spotted online following its shakedown run from Barcelona.
Audi declared several years ago that it would join the sport in 2026 for the start of a new era under fresh technical regulations.
The team has taken over Sauber, a private F1 squad who has been active in F1 for over 30 years.
As well as constructing its own chassis, Audi pledged to build its own power unit for its F1 adventure.
After a handful of years of planning and development, the car officially took to the track for the first time on Friday as the team got its season up and running.
The video shows the car rounding a handful of corners, but no details of the car can be deciphered given the distance.
Audi enter the year with Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto forming its driver line-up, while former Red Bull sporting director Jonathan Wheatley holds team principal duties.
