BREAKING: Aston Martin launch protest after Austrian GP

The protest comes after host of drivers picked up track limit penalties.

Aston Martin have launched a Formula 1 protest and report to the stewards at 18:30 local time at the Austrian Grand Prix. The team have protested the result of the race in which Fernando Alonso was sixth and Lance Stroll 10th. The protest of the results is regarded the fact that Aston believe "a number a cars were not penalised for a breach of Article 33.3 of the Sporting Regulations," according to the FIA. This article covers track limits, with over 100 laps being deleted throughout the race and the likes of Lewis Hamilton and Carlos Sainz earning five-second time penalties for exceeding the limits. Alonso finished 3.990s behind McLaren driver Lando Norris in sixth, with the McLaren driver not receiving any sanction during the race.
