Antonelli unstoppable as Verstappen suffers rare defeat
Kimi Antonelli produced Silverstone Saturday perfection to secure Sprint victory and claim pole position for the British Grand Prix, but with a surprise alongside him.
The Mercedes driver extended his title lead to 43 points by winning the Sprint ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Lando Norris, while he has an excellent chance to extend it even further on Sunday. Charles Leclerc claimed second on the grid, with Hamilton and George Russell on the second row.
