Alpine's bold new era officially starts on Friday with the launch of its new Mercedes-powered A526 F1 car.
The team has switched from Renault works power units to a customer Mercedes supply, with Pierre Gasly giving the new car a shakedown at a rainy Silverstone earlier this week.
He will be joined by Franco Colapinto in sharing the driving duties for the coming season.
