For the first time all F1 season, none of the 10 teams have disclosed car updates to the FIA, ahead of the São Paulo Grand Prix at Interlagos.
The round in Brazil will see teams make changes to their packages from the previous round, in Mexico City, where cooling is critically important, but none of the visible components on the grid will be debuting at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace.
As attention throughout the paddock turns to the regulations overhaul in 2026, fewer and fewer teams have been bringing upgrades to rounds in the second part of the campaign.
Only three teams — Red Bull, Alpine and Stake — introduced changes at the Dutch Grand Prix, and only two did so at the Singapore Grand Prix (Red Bull and Mercedes) and United States Grand Prix (Mercedes and Haas), respectively.
Some teams, such as Williams, stopped development early in the year, with full focus on the impending rules set.
Red Bull has indicated there could be further changes to the RB21 over the final few rounds, as Max Verstappen chases down the McLarens of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri in pursuit of the F1 drivers' championship.
However, any updates will now have to come in the final three rounds of the campaign.
