Alfa Romeo finally reveal new F1 car for 2022 season

After running a camouflage livery during the recent pre-season test, Alfa Romeo have unveiled the real look of their new 2022 F1 car, the C42.

Alfa Romeo have become the final F1 team to launch their new Formula 1 car for the 2022 season, with the covers coming off the C42. The outfit's all-new driver line-up of Valtteri Bottas and Guanyu Zhou will be racing the new challenger in the upcoming campaign. After running a camouflage livery during the recent pre-season test in Barcelona, the true colour scheme of the car has now been revealed, with the team staying with their traditional red and white design.

What can the C42 achieve?

There were some challenges for Alfa Romeo during testing in Spain, with the team suffering some issues that limited their running. But, with another pre-season test set to take place in Bahrain on 10-12 March, there will be more time for the C42 to put in further laps. Bottas has spoken of his excitement at the new challenge ahead , whilst Zhou relished the chance to get behind the wheel for the first time in Barcelona.
