2026 F1 Monaco Grand Prix - weather forecast
F1 appears set for a trouble-free weekend with the weather at the Monaco Grand Prix after two races of major uncertainty.
In Miami, the race was brought forward by three hours owing to the possibility of thunderstorms, whilst expected heavy rain did not materialise in Canada.
However, for the start of the European heart of the season in Monte Carlo, F1 is set for a trouble-free and smooth weekend.
Current forecasts, as of 12:30 BST on Tuesday, June 2nd indicate that the entire weekend is to be run in hot and dry conditions, with temperatures hitting the mid to high 20-degrees Celsius region.
There is the possibility of some rain overnight from Thursday's media day into Friday's practice, but it should by the time the on-track running gets going.
A huge rainstorm is, at the time of writing, currently off the coast of Miami, and this will blow due east across the North Atlantic throughout the week, reaching Europe by Friday evening into Saturday morning.
However, once the cell hits the European landmass of continental Europe and the United Kingdom, it will dissipate and have no impact on the grand prix.
Winds are expected from the north-west throughout the weekend, meaning that if any wet weather does suddenly appear on the radar, it would strike the top of the circuit first, around Mirebeau, the Lowes hairpin, and Portier, first.
