The article below shows how many F1 penalty points each 2026 driver has on their superlicence, which will be updated after every grand prix in the season to reflect the latest standings with points being added, or expired ones being removed.
Drivers are allowed to accumulate 12 penalty points in a 12-month period before an automatic one-race ban is triggered.
This article will be updated following every grand prix in the 2026 season.
Oliver Bearman - 10 points
Two points - expire May 23rd, 2026. For overtaking Carlos Sainz under red flags during Free Practice 3 at the 2025 Monaco GP.
Four points - expire July 5th, 2026. For failure to comply with a red flag during Free Practice 3 at the 2025 British GP.
Two points - expire September 7th, 2026. For colliding with Carlos Sainz during the 2025 Italian Grand Prix.
One point - expires November 8th, 2026. For driving in a manner deemed potentially dangerous against Liam Lawson in the 2025 Sao Paulo GP Sprint.
One point - expires December 7th, 2026. For making more than one change in direction while defending during the 2025 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Liam Lawson - six points
One point - expires April 13th, 2026. For causing a collision with Lance Stroll during the 2025 Bahrain GP.
Two points - expires April 13th, 2026. For causing a collision with Nico Hulkenberg during the 2025 Bahrain GP.
One point - expires May 2nd, 2026. For causing a collision with Fernando Alonso in the 2025 Miami GP Sprint.
One point - expires November 8th, 2026. For causing a collision with Oliver Bearman in the 2025 Sao Paulo GP Sprint.
One point - expires December 7th, 2026. For driving erratically during the 2025 Abu Dhabi GP.
Lance Stroll - six points
One point - expires May 23rd, 2026. For causing a collision with Charles Leclerc during practice for the 2025 Monaco GP.
Two points - expires June 15th, 2026. For forcing Pierre Gasly off track during the 2025 Canadian GP.
Two points - expires October 18th, 2026. For causing a collision with Esteban Ocon during the 2025 United States GP Sprint.
One point - expires December 7th, 2026. For driving erratically during the 2025 Abu Dhabi GP.
Kimi Antonelli - five points
Two points - expires June 29th, 2026. For causing a collision with Max Verstappen at the 2025 Austrian Grand Prix.
Two points - expires August 31st, 2026. For causing a collision with Charles Leclerc at the 2025 Dutch Grand Prix.
One point - expires September 7th, 2026. For forcing Alex Albon wide during the 2025 Italian Grand Prix.
Carlos Sainz - four points
Two points - expires April 13th, 2026. For causing a collision with Kimi Antonelli during the 2025 Bahrain GP.
Two points - expires October 26th, 2026. For causing a collision with Kimi Antonelli during the 2025 US GP.
Sainz had been awarded two penalty points for causing a collision with Liam Lawson during the 2025 Dutch GP, which were due to expire on August 31st, 2026.
However, following a successful right of review submitted by Williams, those penalty points were expunged from his FIA super licence, with the incident re-ruled a racing incident.
Oscar Piastri - four points
Two points - expire July 6th, 2026. For a safety car infringement during the 2025 British GP.
Two points - expire November 9th, 2026. For causing a collision with Kimi Antonelli during the 2025 São Paulo GP.
Max Verstappen - three points
Three points - expire June 1st, 2026. For causing a collision with George Russell in the 2025 Spanish GP.
Alex Albon - three points
Two points - expire September 21st, 2026. For causing a collision with Franco Colapinto during the 2025 Azerbaijan GP.
One point - expires November 23rd, 2026. For causing a collision with Lewis Hamilton during the 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix.
Lewis Hamilton - three points
Two points - expires August 31st, 2026. For failing to slow under double yellow flags and not travelling at a "greatly reduced speed at pit-entry" prior to the 2025 Dutch GP.
One point - expires November 9th, 2026. For causing a collision with Franco Colapinto at the 2025 São Paulo GP.
Pierre Gasly - two points
Two points - expires August 3rd, 2026. For causing a collision with Carlos Sainz at the 2025 Hungarian Grand Prix.
Gabriel Bortoleto - two points
Two points - expires November 23rd, 2026. For causing a collision with Lance Stroll at the 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix.
Franco Colapinto - one point
One point - expires June 29th, 2026. For forcing Oscar Piastri off track during the 2025 Austrian GP.
Charles Leclerc - one point
One point - expires August 3rd, 2026. For driving erratically against George Russell at the 2025 Hungarian Grand Prix.
Esteban Ocon - one point
One point - expires September 7th, 2026. For driving erratically against Lance Stroll at the 2025 Italian Grand Prix.
