It has been a fascinating five days of pre-season testing at Barcelona's Circuit de Catalunya.
Whilst optimum lap time was not the main driver of the test, there were still some impressive times at the top of the charts, led by Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton.
The seven-time F1 champion set the best time of the week late on the final day on Friday with a 1:16.348s. Okay, it was five seconds slower than last year's Spanish GP pole position, but just seven-tenths of a second down behind the fastest lap in the race.
The obvious caveat, of course, is that these are very different cars given the major change in the regulations, whilst configurations, fuel loads and track conditions, given the cold temperatures across the course of the week, must also be taken into consideration.
