For the first time, F1 is holding the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix in 2026.

The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya has lost the 'Spanish Grand Prix' to the new Madriring, due to debut in September, but with a contract, the 'Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix' has been created.

It is now to stay on the calendar through 2032 as part of a rotational agreement with the Belgian Grand Prix, in which the Spanish venue will host in even-numbered years, and Spa, odd.

2026 F1 Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix qualifying starts today at 16:00 local time - which is 15:00 BST in the UK.
