George Russell completed the Friday practice double for the first time with a commanding performance in Free Practice 2 for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
After topping FP1 by 0.400s from Max Verstappen, Russell topped FP2 by 0.552s from team-mate Kimi Antonelli.
It is the first time Russell has topped both practices, and the second time a driver has in 2026 after Antonelli in Austria.
Verstappen slotted into third place, 0.827s down on Russell as Mercedes dominated, with every other driver, including Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton over a second down on Mercedes.
