Jak Crawford emerged victorious from a twice red-flagged Monaco F2 feature race, featuring a huge Turn 1 pile-up.
At lights out, pole-sitter Alex Dunne was beaten off the line by P2's Victor Martins, with Dunne sweeping Martins into the Sainte Devote barrier, causing a huge pile-up involving nearly half the field.
After a lengthy red flag for recovery and clean-up, Leonardo Fornaroli led and kept the position from the chasing Arvid Lindblad and Sebastian Montoya, with Crawford keeping tabs on the leading gaggle.
However, in what was now a timed race, Dino Beganovic crashed heavily at Casino Sqaure, leading to the safety car being deployed - just as Crawford was passing pit-entry, which allowed him to dive into the pits.
The leading trio were all forced to do an extra lap behind the safety car, meaning Crawford jumped into the lead, with Fornarolia and Lindblad on the podium.
However, Lindblad copped a five-second time penalty for speeding in the pit-lane, dropping him to ninth, with Montoya, who had conked out on the grid for the original start, promoted to third.
After the race, Dunne was handed a 10-place grid penalty to be served at the Spanish Grand Prix support event, to be served in the feature race.
