Max Verstappen stormed to pole position for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, topping the timing board with a time of 1:27.294.
That was enough to better Oscar Piastri by 10 milliseconds at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, with George Russell completing the top three.
Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc and Kimi Antonelli finished fourth and fifth-fastest, respectively.
Carlos Sainz, Lewis Hamilton, Yuki Tsunoda, Pierre Gasly and Lando Norris rounded out the top 10.
The McLaren driver crashed heavily in Q3, bringing out the red flag and ending his hopes of take pole.
Lance Stroll was eliminated in Q1 and will line up P16 for the race. In failing to make it through to Q2, he broke Kevin Magnussen's record for most Q1 knock-outs in F1 history with 75.
