Lando Norris crashed in the final section of qualifying for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, bringing out the red flag. The McLaren driver will now start the race at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit in P10 after hitting the wall in the first sector, on the exit of Turn 5. The five-time grand prix winner called himself a "fucking idiot" over team radio after confirming to the Woking squad that he was okay. Team-mate Oscar Piastri appeared to just get his first Q3 push lap in before the red flag was flown. The clock has stopped with 8:32 left to run in the session.
