F1 Chinese GP schedule & start times
We're gearing up for the first sprint weekend of the season: the F1 Chinese Grand Prix. This means more excitement for the fans and additional opportunities for teams and drivers to score valuable points.
Last year, Max Verstappen won the Chinese GP, and we witnessed an impressive 53 overtakes during the race. With its long straights and heavy braking zones, the Shanghai International Circuit is set to deliver another thrilling spectacle this year.
On Friday, the first free practice session will take place, followed by sprint qualifying. Then, on Saturday, the sprint will start at 3:00 GMT, followed by the qualifying session at 7:00 GMT.
The 2025 F1 Chinese Grand Prix starts on Sunday, March 23, at 7:00 GMT. About an hour and a half later, we should know who has won the second race of the season.
