China GP 2024 schedule revealed
This weekend, the fifth grand prix of the year takes place in China as Formula 1 gears up for its first sprint weekend of 2024. After a lengthy absence due to safety concerns surrounding COVID-19, the Shanghai International Circuit returns to the calendar for the first time since 2019.
In the previous grand prix there, Mercedes was highly dominant, with Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas securing what seemed to be a straightforward 1-2 finish. Hamilton holds the record for the most wins in China, with an impressive six victories to his name.
The 2024 Chinese Grand Prix kicks off on Sunday, April 21st at 8:00 AM GMT. Approximately an hour and a half later, we should know who clinched victory. Who will emerge victorious this year?

What time does qualifying start in China?
The qualifying session will take place on Saturday, April 20th, at 8:00 AM GMT and will occur after the sprint race. This year, Formula 1 introduces a new sprint format, with the free practice and sprint shootout taking place on Friday. On Saturday, the sprint race will precede the qualifying session for the race. Subsequently, the race will be held on Sunday.
