Isack Hadjar took F2 feature race pole position at Silverstone, ahead of Victor Martins of ART Grand Prix and Dennis Hauger of MP Motorsport during the 30 minute qualifying session.
The latter's team-mate Franco Colapinto and Oliver Bearman were fourth and fifth-place, respectively, after their own F1 FP1 outings earlier on Friday.
Meanwhile, Gabriel Bortoleto, Jak Crawford, Kush Maini, Zane Maloney and Kimi Andrea Antonelli rounded out the top 10.
Therefore, the Prema Racing driver and The Rodin racer will start Saturday's sprint on the front row, with the top 10 on the grid reversed for the shorter, less points-critical race.
Results provisional until final confirmation.
