Max Verstappen took pole position ahead of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz.
His best time of a 1:04.391 was good enough to be 0.048s ahead of Leclerc, and further 0.142s ahead of Sainz.
Lando Norris starts alongside Sainz with his best effort, while Lewis Hamilton rounds out the top five.
Lance Stroll out-qualified Fernando Alonso, while Alex Albon made another appearance into Q3 and managed P10.
Sergio Perez failed to make Q3 for a fourth consecutive time after getting his lap time deleted in the dying moments of Q2.
