The 2021 Singapore Grand Prix is set to be canceled with Formula 1 analyzing multiple possible scenarios to replace the race. The first scenario would see China take Singapore's slot on the calendar, though both the country and Liberty Media would have to work together in order to mitigate the risk of any COVID outbreaks. The alternative would be a second race in the United States of America with COTA keen on having a Sprint race as part of any agreement, this would also mean that the race in Japan is advanced to an earlier date.
