Yuki Tsunoda will be handed a further opportunity to carry out experiments in order to get up to speed at Red Bull following the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
RacingNews365 understands Tsunoda will get behind the wheel of an older Red Bull challenger as part of the Testing of Previous Cars rules.
The run is set to take place next week at the Silverstone Circuit, host of the British Grand Prix.
Tsunoda was called up to Red Bull after just two rounds into the campaign to replace the struggling Liam Lawson.
Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko pledged Tsunoda will be given until the end of the season to prove himself within the team.
The 24-year-old endured a difficult debut with the team at his round in Japan before he broke into the points in Bahrain a week later.
With his promotion coming to the team at the start of a triple header, he has had little time to return to Red Bull's base and work through data with his engineers.
However, as next week sees a break in the schedule ahead of the Miami Grand Prix in two weeks' time, Tsunoda can use the opportunity to gain further knowledge of the Red Bull systems.
Tsunoda's upcoming test is set to see him jump behind the wheel of the RB19, a dominant Red Bull challenger that won 21 out of the 22 races staged during the 2023 season.
F1 teams are permitted to carry out a maximum of 20 days of TPC running each year, however the full-time drivers are limited to just four days with 1,000 km of total running.
