Despite Sergio Perez's torrid run of form, he has been afforded the security of his Red Bull seat until at least the end of the season.
Most expected the 34-year-old to be replaced by either Liam Lawson or Daniel Ricciardo over the summer break, but Red Bull opted to stick by the Mexican - for now.
Earlier in the year, just before the Canadian Grand Prix, the Milton Keynes squad handed Perez a contract extension until the end of 2026, with that second season being a team option.
By Christian Horner's own admission, the hope was that the added security would help pull his driver out of his slump in form, which had set in at Imola in mid May.
That did not happen, and Perez heads into the summer break on a run that has seen him score a mere 28 points in the past eight rounds.
Red Bull's constructors' championship advantage over McLaren has been eroded from a high-water mark of 115 points to just 42, and there is the very real danger that if Perez cannot re-find form, the Woking team will beat Red Bull to the title.
Ex-Red Bull driver David Coulthard has backed Perez to win a grand prix in the remaining 10 rounds, if he can re-discover his performance. So, RacingNews365 decided to find out if our viewers agree.
