The greats of F1 are well-known household names, but for every iconic champion, there is another motorsport great that for whatever reason, never made to the starting grid of a grand prix.
RacingNews365 has come up with six drivers we think are the greatest never to have raced an F1 car, and simply want you to decide.
On our list, we have the most successful Le Mans racer, the driver who revolutionised NASCAR, IndyCar's most succeesful British racer, and someone who isn't even considered 'a driver' at all.
Valentino Rossi's inclusion in the poll below did cause some debate in the office as to whether he counted, but he is in, but does he get your vote?
