Formula 1 heads to the Lusail Circuit for the fourth Sprint race of the season ahead of the Qatar Grand Prix.

A change to the running order this year sees the Sprint now standing alone – rather than deciding the grid for Sunday's Grand Prix – and the starting order will be set in the Sprint Shootout earlier on Saturday.

Max Verstappen stands a chance of clinching his third F1 Drivers' Championship in the Sprint race, if Sergio Perez does not finish sixth or higher.

Concerns over tyre safety have led to a track limit changes and a special 10-minute practice session being placed into the schedule, with a 20-minute delay made to the Sprint Shootout.

The Shootout will start at 16:20 local time (14:20 BST) on Saturday.

This will be followed by a 19-lap Sprint, which begins at 20:00 local time (18:00 BST), while the Grand Prix will also start at 20:00 local time on Sunday (18:00 BST) and will run for 57 laps.

Session Day Time (BST) Time (Local)
Sprint Shootout Saturday 14:20 16:00
Sprint Saturday 18:00 20:00
Grand Prix Sunday 18:00 20:00
