Fernando Alonso is entering his 23rd F1 season this year, extending the record he set several years ago.
By far the most experienced driver in F1 history, Alonso has long been chasing a return to the top step of the podium and another crack at title success.
However, any chance of doing so this year seems like a distant hope following Aston Martin's difficult start to the campaign.
Alonso and team-mate Lance Stroll highlighted the challenges they are facing with the car's chassis, while the new Honda power unit has proved to be unreliable thus far.
The Spaniard does not yet have a contract in place for the 2027 season and question marks hang over his commitment to the sport beyond the current campaign.
The disappointing Aston Martin package has thrown another spanner in the works and could play a crucial role in the two-time champion's decision to keep going or retire.
But what do you think Alonso should do? Have your say fellow!
