Following a relationship that lasted over 20 years, Christian Horner and Red Bull have parted ways.
It was announced on Wednesday morning that Horner had left the organisation as its team principal with immediate effect.
Racing Bulls team boss Laurent Mekies has been announced as Horner's replacement as Red Bull team boss and CEO, whilst Mekies has been replaced by Alan Permane.
Mekies has become just the second team principal in Red Bull's F1 history, with Horner having led the outfit since it entered the sport back in 2005.
He oversaw Red Bull's dominance between 2010-2013 and Max Verstappen's four consecutive F1 drivers' titles.
However, last year he faced accusations of inappropriate behaviour, resulting in a lengthy investigation. He was, though, cleared of any wrongdoing.
Despite this, Red Bull has struggled on the circuit, with Verstappen having fallen 69 points adrift of Oscar Piastri, whilst the team is almost 300 points behind McLaren.
