Felix Rosenqvist has suffered a huge crashed at the Detroit GP as the throttle appeared to be stuck on, sending him hard into the wall.
The Arrow McLaren SP driver was conscious but visibly in pain as the marshals took a long time to get him out of his car because how vehicle was deep in the tyre wall.
Rosenqvist was taken away from the scene of the accident in an ambulance to a nearby hospital.
Dr. Geoffrey Billows has since confirmed that Rosenqvist is alert, conscious, and has had no loss of functions. He has been sent to hospital for more definite evaluation, but has been 'totally stable' throughout.
