Nico Müller secured a famous first Formula E victory on Porsche home territory in Berlin, following a masterful display.
The Swiss driver claimed a home win for the factory Porsche outfit after breaking away from the field in the closing laps, to win by nearly five seconds.
He found himself with an energy advantage and near the front after taking his Pit Boost, before becoming the first of the leaders to take Attack Mode.
It allowed Müller to get into the lead and break away, with his energy advantage having made it impossible for those behind to close.
It was a clean start by all the drivers with the pace across the first third of the race having been slow, before quickly improving from lap 13 onwards.
Lola's Lucas di Grassi was the early big mover, going from the last row of the grid to the front in the opening states; however, it fell towards the back after his Pit Boost.
The first piece of drama was for home hero Pascal Wehrlein, who had to pit for a puncture on lap 19, the same lap Antonio Felix da Costa, Dan Ticktum and Felipe Drugovich became the first drivers to take Pit Boost.
Unfortunately for Ticktum, power cuts saw him fall to the back soon after returning to the circuit. Oliver Rowland was the final driver to take his Pit Boost seven laps later, before the field took their sole Attack Mode.
The reigning world champion completed the podium in third, with Citroën's Nick Cassidy in second. Edoardo Mortara finished in fourth after starting on pole to take the championship lead, due to Wehrlein finishing in 19th.
