Verstappen's terrible day
Friday at Imola was probably Max Verstappen's worst day in a Red Bull for a while, as he struggled his way to fifth and seventh place in the two sessions.
Battling a lack of grip in the RB20, the world champion suffering multiple offs and trips through the gravel, and labelled the day as one that could not get "any worse."

Leclerc's dream start
On the flip-side, it was a dream start for Charles Leclerc, as he topped both sessions at Ferrari's home track.
The Scuderia is sporting a sizeable upgrade package at Imola, but despite the encouraging pace, Leclerc has warned the team not to get carried away just yet.

Hamilton's criticism
It was also a good day on-track for Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes, with the seven-time champion an encouraging fourth in FP2.
However, he drew some criticism from fellow world champions Verstappen and Fernando Alonso - for which he later apologised to Verstappen.
