Former F1 driver Juan Pablo Montoya has backed Max Verstappen to leave Red Bull at the end of 2026 and join rivals Mercedes.
Verstappen has been linked several times with a move to the Silver Arrows ahead of when the new power unit regulations are introduced.

Andretti F1 project officially undergoes name change
The Andretti F1 project has officially changed its name following a switch in leadership ahead of the proposed entry for 2026.
Last month, F1 confirmed its intent to allow a new team to join the grid in just over one year's time when new technical regulations come into play.

FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem has revealed Max Verstappen was “so happy” when he learned of his community service duties.
Verstappen was penalised for swearing in an official FIA press conference in Singapore, resulting in a short-lived boycott of answering questions in post-session events.

Sainz issues media plea to combat online toxicity
Carlos Sainz has called on established media to help curb the toxic proliferation and factionalism of online F1 spaces.
The Spaniard implored credentialed publications to assist in better informing fans, in a bid to reduce polarisation and remedy division within F1 social media communities.

Perez outlines 'biggest step' in Verstappen at Red Bull
Sergio Perez believes 2024 is the "best season" Max Verstappen has put together of the four years they have spent in F1 together at Red Bull.
The 34-year-old outlined where he feels the Dutchman has made the "biggest step" in their time as team-mates, arguing those improvements have mainly been off track.

Bottas reveals false Audi promise after F1 snub
