Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur has revealed the reason why he told Carlos Sainz he would not be re-signed so early in the year.

When the Scuderia confirmed Lewis Hamilton would join in 2025, it put an end to the Spanish driver's tenure at Maranello.

NASCAR's Larson told Verstappen would make him 'cry in a corner'

After Kyle Larson's claim he is "better" than Max Verstappen, Dutch racing driver Tim Coronel has moved to refute 2021 NASCAR champion's assertion.

Speaking on FloRacing, Larson said: "I know in my mind I am better than him [Verstappen] as an all-around driver."

Could Verstappen be impacted by Red Bull reshuffle?

Ted Kravitz has brought to light speculation that Max Verstappen's race engineer, Gianpiero Lambiase, could be set to replace Red Bull's outgoing sporting director Jonathan Wheatley.

Having joined the Milton Keynes squad in 2006, it was announced just before the summer break that Wheatley will take over as team principal of Audi's F1 project next year after a period of gardening leave.

Damning Alpine 'in the shit' phone call revealed

Alpine advisor Flavio Briatore has revealed that he returned to the Enstone-based team following a phone call from Renault CEO Luca de Meo, who informed Briatore that Alpine were "in the shit".

Briatore was formerly the outfit's team principal under the Renault and Benetton names, before being forced to leave after the 'crashgate' scandal.

Zhou hits out at 'stupid, disrespectful rumours' over F1 future

Zhou Guanyu has responded to media rumours he deems "stupid" and "disrespectful".

Speaking exclusively to RacingNews365, the 25-year-old highlighted the speculation around his financial backing, joking that he wished had the numbers reported as it would solve his seat issue.

Verstappen 'no bullshit' attitude praised by former F2 driver

Former Formula 2 driver Clement Novalak has praised Max Verstappen for being a "no bullshit driver".

Novalak previously competed in F2 but now races in the European Le Mans Series and in IMSA in the LMP2 category.
