Footage has emerged of a van suffering a bizarre crash at the Madring, the brand-new circuit being built in Madrid to host this year’s Spanish Grand Prix.
Local media outlets in the Spanish capital have posted footage of a white van speeding on a section of the circuit utilising the M-50, before skidding off the asphalt, crashing through a sign, and becoming beached in the gravel.
The Spanish Grand Prix is scheduled to take place from September 11 to 13, with much of the circuit still to be built.
A van crashing at the circuit while construction is still ongoing is not a good look for the venue, which is very much in a race against the clock.
While progress has been made since RacingNews365 visited the Madring last month, significant work is still required.
