The stewards have summoned the promoter and organiser of the United States Grand Prix following a track invasion prior to the conclusion of the race. Charles Leclerc claimed a comfortable victory at the Circuit of the Americas, ahead of Carlos Sainz who completed a Ferrari one-two. Max Verstappen finished third after Lando Norris received a five-second time penalty for overtaking the reigning world champion off the circuit. A track invasion was seen taking place whilst drivers were performing their cool-down lap, with a representative from US race management to visit the stewards at 18:15 local time. The stewards stated that the promoter and organiser had been summoned following a "Spectator track invasion prior to the conclusion of the 2024 United States Grand Prix."
