RacingNews365.com can reveal who the 10 most paid drivers are on the current Formula 1 grid. After Lewis Hamilton signed on to drive for Mercedes this year we can confirm he is the top earner on the grid, earning $30 million this season excluding bonuses.
Next on the list is Max Verstappen with $25m a season, as the Red Bull man will look to take the fight to his Mercedes rival in 2021 in what is Honda's final season as the team's engine provider. Rounding out the podium is returning two-time world champion Fernando Alonso, who will take home $20m in what is the Spaniard's first Formula 1 season since 2018.
Former Red Bull teammates Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo will both earn $15m, with both men hoping to return to the top of the podium in 2021 after spending last season with Ferrari and Renault respectively.
Charles Leclerc is the highest paid Ferrari driver, earning $12m compared to the $10m that new teammate Carlos Sainz will bring home, while the likes of Valtteri Bottas, Lance Stroll and Kimi Raikkonen complete the top 10.
