Ferrari sponsor Mission Winnow have finally revealed what the green arrows found next to Ferrari's engine cover signify.

Ferrari's key sponsor Mission Winnow has finally revealed the meaning of the green coloured arrows found on on Ferrari's engine cover. Many were left baffled by the touch of green incorporated into the livery Ferrari's SF21 when the car was first launched. In fact that livery has received some harsh criticism from certain quarters despite the colour emphasising progress on the sponsor's part. "Change is part of Mission Winnow’s DNA. And this new green look represents just that," said a Mission Winnow statement on the company's website. "Never boxed-in and always evolving, this green arrow represents our capacity to embrace change with open arms. But, why did we choose green? In movies, green screens are essential to bring our imagination to life, inspiring new worlds and new possibilities, and we’re hoping this change will open up the same opportunities for us. "Never boxed-in and always evolving, the green arrow represents possibility, constant evolution and willingness to embrace change. But, why green? In film, green screens are essential to bring our imagination to life, inspiring new horizons, and we hope this change will open up the same opportunities for us. "In fact, regardless of opinions about the colour, it is already sparking debate and creating dialogue. This is giving us the opportunity to challenge preconceived notions and open people’s minds to the unconventional and the unexpected. "We are proud to continue our relationship with Scuderia Ferrari as Title Partner in 2021, and we look forward to sparking more conversations throughout the season. "Mission Winnow has always intended to challenge the status-quo, and with this change, we are delivering on our promise." Ferrari will hope their new car performs better than its predecessor.
