This is the start time of the 2024 Grand Prix in China
After the last edition of the Chinese GP in 2019, we can once again enjoy the return of this iconic Grand Prix this year. Due to safety reasons related to COVID-19, the race in Shanghai was off the calendar for a long time, but that changes this year. The big favorite Max Verstappen has never won in Shanghai before and can achieve a new milestone this weekend. Additionally, local hero Zhou Guanyu is determined to make his mark during the races.
Schedule of the first sprint weekend in China
The GP weekend in China takes place from Friday, April 19 to Sunday, April 21, 2024. Additionally, the first sprint weekend of this season will be held in Shanghai, with a new format. On Friday, the first practice and sprint shootout will take place. The sprint race starts on Saturday at 04:00 AM GMT, followed by qualifying later in the morning at 08:00 AM GMT. The race begins on Sunday, April 21 at 08:00 AM GMT.
