Stake F1 'turn heads' with special Miami GP livery

Special liveries are set to be a hot topic ahead of the Miami Grand Prix.

Stake has become the first F1 team to unveil a special livery ahead of this weekend's Miami Grand Prix, leaning on a "striking art" theme for the one-off look.

The team is aiming to "turn heads" with the livery, which is inspired by Miami's vibrant art scene.

Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto will be wearing race suits that "echo" the theme of the livery, which will also be present throughout the Hinwil-based squad's garage and pit stop equipment.

"This livery is more than just a new look – it’s a celebration of Miami’s creative spirit and our commitment to energising the sport for our fans," said chief commercial officer Stefano Battiston.

"Our objective when developing this livery with Stake was to stand out, not only for our dedication on the track, but also for our boldness and creativity off track. Our team is dedicated to creating memorable moments and engaging experiences, and this Miami special is a perfect example of that."

Other teams such as Ferrari and Racing Bulls have teased a new livery, with the designs set to be unveiled on Wednesday ahead of F1's fourth visit to Miami, which will once again be a sprint event in 2025.

Mercedes has also unveiled a special clothing line, including team wear, for the weekend.
