Speculation has been swarming over Esteban Ocon and his future within the Alpine team following the Monaco Grand Prix. The Frenchman made contact with team-mate Pierre Gasly on the opening lap and subsequently retired from the race. Alpine team principal Bruno Famin warned there would be “consequences” for the incident - leading to suggestions that Ocon's time within the team is at an end.
