A second red flag has interrupted the Thursday afternoon test session at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
With 90 minutes gone in the afternoon, Nikita Mazepin brought out the red flags as he ground to a halt in the third sector of the lap.
The Russian driver had completed just nine laps of the circuit at the time of the stoppage. Haas have confirmed that Mazepin stopped as a result of a damaged fuel pump on his VF-22.
After the first day of testing at the circuit went without a single interruption, Mazepin's stoppage is the second red flag of Thursday's running. During the morning session, Sergio Perez brought out the red flags as his Red Bull stopped on track with a gearbox issue.
Daniel Ricciardo continues to lead the way for McLaren after posting a time of 1:20.355 in the morning.
