Mercedes have let Mick Schumacher drive the W14 for the first time around the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, as part of a Pirelli tyre test. Pirelli are staging in-season tests following the Spanish Grand Prix this week as part of their evaluation of tyres being used without blankets. The test is critical to a decision being made on whether blankets will be banned from 2024, with just one test post-British GP left. Schumacher will be gathering valuable data for Pirelli and providing Mercedes with information on his development and feedback. "Mick has done a great job with the team so far, working hard back in the simulator and giving valuable input trackside," said team boss Toto Wolff. Check out the video of Schumacher below.
