Sainz spotted completing first Williams laps

Carlos Sainz is already getting used to life as a Williams driver.

Carlos Sainz has been spotted driving for Williams for the first-time, in a filming day at the Yas Marina Circuit.  The Spaniard will drive for his new outfit in the post-season test in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, following on from finishing second in the season finale.  He started the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in third but was in second by the exit of the first corner, courtesy of Oscar Piastri being spun by Max Verstappen.  Sainz was hopeful of ending his Ferrari stint by winning the team the constructors' title, but failed to former outfit McLaren as Lando Norris claimed victory. On Monday, Sainz was seen driving the FW46 as part of a Williams filming day, just hours after Santander was confirmed as a new partner.  He will be alongside Alex Albon next season after spending four seasons with Ferrari.
