Carlos Sainz has caused an early red flag during practice for the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
The Ferrari driver stopped on track at Turn 17 after just nine minutes of the first practice session.
Replays of his onboard show that he hit a bump going along the straight, which caused his engine to switch off.
He was able to get out of the car unaided, but it is a setback for the Spanish driver early on during the weekend after completing just three laps on track.
