A George Russell helmet has been used to help broker talks between two world leaders.
The Malaysian prime minister Anwar Ibrahim has gifted a Russell helmet to his Indonesian counterpart, president Prabowo Subianto after talks between the two at the iconic Petronas twin towers in Kuala Lumpur.
Part of the talks were aimed at increasing cooperation between Petronas and Pertamina, Malaysia and Indonesia's major respective oil companies.
Petronas has been the title sponsor of Russell's Mercedes team since it returned as a works team in 2010, with a previous stint at BMW Sauber, including for when Robert Kubica won the 2008 Canadian Grand Prix.
Pertamina has not been involved in F1 since Rio Haryanto became the first Indonesian to race in F1 at the start of the 2016 season, but was dropped by Manor after the summer break for Esteban Ocon.
