Red Bull has been hit with a €1,000 fine by Emilia Romagna Grand Prix stewards after Sergio Perez sped in the Imola pit-lane.

With a sped limit of 80kph (49.7mph) in force for the weekend, Perez was clocked at 88.9kph (55.2mph), exceeding the limit by 8.9kph (5.5mph).

For this, Red Bull was fined by the stewards under the breach of Article 34.7 of the Sporting Regulations.

Perez had finished the session in fourth place, 0.007s ahead of team-mate Max Verstappen, who struggled for grip and balance in the RB20, going off track multiple times as Ferrari's Charles Leclerc topped the opening hour of practice.
