It has been reported by Motorsport Magazin that Red Bull are set to introduce a first major upgrade to its 2025 challenger on Friday, the final day of pre-season testing.
The Austrian outfit enjoyed a positive start to running in Bahrain, with Max Verstappen having ended the opening day third fastest.
Team-mate Liam Lawson was eighth on the timesheets, although the full-time F1 rookie ran in the morning session rather than in the afternoon.
The report of a huge upgrade on the final day for Red Bull at the Bahrain International Circuit follows opening day queries surround its new car – the RB21.
When Lawson hit the circuit on Wednesday morning, onlookers were immediately surprised at the visual similarity to last year's troublesome RB20.
However, differences were spotted on the rear of the new car, whilst team principal Christian Horner insisted that the team had made several changes underneath the bodywork.
Verstappen was pleased with the performance of the new car on the opening day, and boasted the best long run pace.
