Formula 1 fans have overwhelmingly backed Red Bull's decision to promote Isack Hadjar, to replace Yuki Tsunoda and partner Max Verstappen next season.
It was announced on Tuesday afternoon that Hadjar would move from Racing Bulls to Red Bull for the start of the new power unit regulations in 2026, with Tsunoda losing his spot in the team.
Tsunoda also failed to land a seat in the sister squad, which will be represented next year by Liam Lawson and current Red Bull junior and F2 driver Arvid Lindblad.
It is not a goodbye entirely though, as Red Bull confirmed Tsunoda would be its reserve and test driver next season.
As for Hadjar's promotion, it is one which had been expected, following what has been an incredible rookie season.
Hadjar has been a regular in Q3 sessions across his debut campaign, whilst he has played a starring role in Racing Bulls' quest for sixth in the constructors' standings.
Red Bull promoting the Frenchman is a decision F1 fans agree with, proven in a poll by RacingNews365.
In a poll regarding whether Hadjar's promotion was the correct choice by Red Bull, a staggering 50.69% voted that it was, with just 18.83% believing Tsunoda should have been retained.
Interestingly, 12.43% think Lawson should have been offered a second chance alongside Verstappen.
